So I came to this show because bluesky was flooded with “Jax is trans” memes and comments. That’s how I discovered the show (apparently I was living under a rock), so on some level I was waiting for that reveal the entire time.
I binged the show over the past few days, and there was never a big “look Jax is a woman now” reveal that I noticed. Sure there was the french maid outfit, but that felt like a gag to me.
Can someone hold my hand and explain what apparently went over my head about Jax being trans? I’m not arguing it didn’t happen, I’m saying I was apparently oblivious to it.
I’m with ya. I didn’t watch any of it or was aware until the day episode 9 dropped. I was on Twitch and saw many were doing a marathon of the show. I jumped into one who has just started episode 1 and watched it all with that streamer in one day.
What gave the Jax is trans hint to me was the Ribbit scene. Talking about revealing something personal and then the bow was the big hint moment for me.
So now I’m over here buying Ragatha merch because I relate to that extreme people pleaser personality. That was me for so many years.
