I have just added email functionality to retrolemmy. Notifications can now end up in you email. If this is not working, make sure you’ve enabled “Send notifications to Email” and either look in your spam folder, or re-add your email in your profile settings.
This does not mean there is an email requirement. Adding your email to your profile is completely optional, and will always be optional.
