The North House Folk School in Grand Marais is undergoing a $5 million campus expansion, part of a growth in traditional folk schools around the state as more people yearn for off-screen experiences working with their hands.

Me either. They look awesome. What a good way to learn a new skill with a mixed age group.
I took classes at John Campbell Folk School a couple times and would recommend it, it’s a great community. I’d like to try going to the folk school in MN sometime too, I’ve heard good things about their Automata class.
