Full caption: Nov 5, 1999, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA: Attorney Frank Totti looks over papers while his client Frances Mountain sorts out Beanie Babies with her ex-husband Harold Mountain in Judge Gerald Hardcastle’s Family Courtroom in Las Vegas November 5. The couple, who were divorced four months ago, were ordered to divide up the collection valued at $2,500 to $5000 but were unable to do so by themselves. The collection was ordered spread on the court floor and divided up one by one under the supervision of Family Court Judge Hardcastle.
My last girlfriend took all my band stickers that I had spent decades collecting.
They’re of no monetary value, but they can’t be replaced.
People get petty in breakups.
My best friend broke up with his fiancee a month before the wedding.
She moved out while he was at work. She took all the toilet paper, and left him 2 squares.
My favorite part of this picture is the expressions on everyone else’s faces. It’s a nice mixture of “'I’m never getting these hours of my life back” and "hmmm, interesting choice, i wonder how they’ll counter that decision.
4/6 people in the back have the exact same pose too
“I graduated law school for this,” muttered the judge.
“I’m still charging the full rate for this.” Muses the divorce lawyer.
How do I go about turning this picture into an NFT?

My dad took my mom’s Legos out of spite. It was one hell of a collection, she hasn’t -played- built any sets since then, despite my and her new spouses encouragement.
Literally worth tens of thousands of dollars today 😤
This seems fantastically sad. Maybe it wasn’t that big of an emotional deal for them, but it triggers something.
Often, to gaze upon the bewildered is to gaze into the void.
you split I pick!
As per the ancient rule of brothers/prisoners
I wonder if this principle could be applied to voting districts.
unfortunately it sorta is in that we have just two options.
I wonder how foolish they feel now.
I was literally thinking about this picture today for some reason
Interesting how 4 of the 6 audience members have more or less the same expression.
i read the headline and i thought this was /c/fakehistoryporn…
Ah! The 90s.
