I saw Lemmy.world has self deployed the Voyager (formerly wefwef) app and it made a lot of sense! That’s why I felt the shameless need to copy. It seems to be a nice experience even on the computer as well. Also NSFW content is not blurred as expected! Give it a try.
/u/yay@lemmynsfw.com don’t know if you guys still support the voyager instance, but updates have been broken for at least around a week and if go to the voyager.lemmynsfw.com url Cloudflare throws up a 526 and says your SSL certificate is invalid.
If you’re the owner of this website:
The SSL certificate presented by the server did not pass validation. This could indicate an expired SSL certificate or a certificate that does not include the requested domain name. Please contact your hosting provider to ensure that an up-to-date and valid SSL certificate issued by a Certificate Authority is configured for this domain name on the origin server.
Oops I tweaked the config for better security but applying same to the Voyager. I’ll fix it, thank you for reporting 🫡
Thanks for keeping the site going! 🫡🫡
Awesome! Thanks again :)
Since this is ran but you its safe to login via? Because it looks nice.
Yep! It’s same as wefwef.app and vger.app. I just changed NSFW img blur. You can even add it to homepage with PWA.
Nice. Now we need to convince the dev to integrate video stuff like redgif because its a pertty fire UI.
@yay what about deploying photon? If has a persisted setting to unblur NSFW posts.
Hey! I deployed it on photon.lemmynsfw.com but we didn’t announced it yet. Let’s be first one who uses it :) Thanks for the idea.
Photon dev here, honored that my project is being used for porn 😆
FYI there’s an env variable to disable nsfw blur for everyone by default.
I see a lot of customization options. Nice! I will add it as soon as possible.
It’s
PUBLIC_NSFW_BLUR
. Set it to false and any new users will have that as the default option.
Thanks! Working nice so far I think. Would be nice to redgifs previewed inline, but I see that with voyager and photon while the regular Lemmy UI does show them inline, so that’s probably on photon/voyager themselves rather than your instance.
