I’m about 6 weeks into owning my first automatic watch, a Timex titanium field watch. It runs fairly accurately, all things considered, and gains about 10 seconds per day. It is not a big deal in the least, but my anal retentive psyche has decided that the seconds need to be hacked back to perfect accuracy every morning.

Is this bad for the watch? The thing is built like a tank, but I’m not sure if it is actually built for that kind of repetitive use of the crown.
