Rules for thee, but not for me
Article is paywalled but the reason Google can get away with it is because they’re getting them shipped without any connectivity.
Self driving cars
Shipped without connectivity
Weird
Also, can I buy a new car without telemetry? I guess I know the answer to that already.
So Chinese automakers cannot import because they rather stay out of market than turn off connectivity?
Ahhhh im only guessing but i dont think any business owner is turning down a 300 million person market. I think id guess its the chinese govt that doesnt allow them to ship to consumers without connectivity.
Seems that way.
Can Americans buy 2nd hand Chinese EVs or will these then become recycling nightmares as a giant outfit cuts every possible corner in a very loosly regulated area?
You can import them after they’re 25 years old but good luck getting parts or repairing them.
Laws are for poor people.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Wow. That’s pretty messed up.
We should ban Amazon and Walmart reselling Chinese as well as Chinese cars
We should work to either innovate or partner with Chinese manufacturers when it comes to EV technology.
good luck with that in your republican america
Yes but stop believing the Dems are better.
Step 1: new constitutional convention in order to replace the federal government, which has been in lawmaking deadlock for about 16 years.
Rolling spy machines… No worries in 2027 its coming to American cars.
Keep calling Chinese tech that as if
- US technology isn’t also spying on everyone
- All you know of China is red scare propaganda you’re stupid enough to fall for
- It isn’t 100x better than all shitty overpriced American tech
Enjoy shilling for your overlords while the rest of the world wins :)
We’ve had internet connected cars for while now.
America: it’s cute when we do it
Illustrates exactly what I was talking about.
Well yes, but it’s America so, why not build the spy machines into something that pays the oil industry more.
