Download. You need the internet to download.
The installation process is what happens after you download, when the files are on your PC. You might just miss it because your PC has an SSD or sufficiently fast hard drive. Installs happen quick these days.
I know the difference between downloading and installing. I imagine this game is too large to fit on an optical disc, thus requiring an active internet connection to instal it. like a shit load of other games before it.
No. Installing never required having an Internet connection, at least as far as I know of so having DRM on the installer is new, at least to me.
I mean there’s been the recent bullshit of requiring downloading the installation files with a physical copy but even then never did they require a Internet connection to start the install.
