After a user created half a dozen accounts in a span of 24 hours to “battle” a ban on a lemmy.world community, I’m regretting to inform that I have added an application questionnaire to the account creation process.

I want this instance to be a inviting and hassle-free home for any enthousiast of the retro kind. And unfortunately this means it’s a little less accessible, and might take a bit before your account can be in use.

I will get to your application in due time, and will check regularly every day.

I hope this will catch trolls and obvious abusers more easily before they become a pain in the ass of the mods of communities.
