The TL:DR; of this for me was that there was such a wide range of preferences for women that it’s kinda hard to say. For older women who have a new partner every 3-5 years men in general overestimate how much they like violent acts, but for younger women or women having many partners per year they are underestimating

People who watch porn more like more rough stuff in general also

Is that kinda what others got out of it?

There were some interesting results for sure! Although everything needs to be taken with so many grain of salt… Might as well just fall back on good old asking your partner.

The result seem to indicate a correlation between the consumption of porn and the taste for more violent practices. But porn consumption is also linked to more liberal sexual life.

Add to that that men are culturally more open with their sexual life, and I start to see a picture drawing itself.

Liberal sex life, porn consumption and more violent sexual practices are correlated, both for men and women, it seems to me. We can’t tell if one is a cause for the others though.

Then there’s the topic of expectation : men somehow seem to expect women taste based on their experience, but it’s like they autocorrect themselves in their judgement, which bring them quite close to the average.
