Technology@lemmy.world•60% of PC gamers have no plans to build a new PC in the next two years — AI pricing crunch on RAM and other components paralyze enthusiast marketEnglish
6·2 months agoHow often does gamers normally build new pc’s? I usually run my builds for 4-6 years, I don’t play a lot of AAA games, but I would not think that I’m in that small a minority. If gamers normally make new builds every 5 year, that fits the finding of 40% considering making a new build in the next 2 years.

Cats are not pack animals like dogs, but they are very social animals. They don’t distinguish between species, so they can be social stimulated by another cat or a human or a dog. A lot of it also depends on what the cat is use to, if you leave a cat alone that is use to you being around all the time, it will get lonely. Cats feel loss if the cat / dog / human they live with dies, sometimes enough that they will stop eating and starve themself to death.

Most of the day, when I was loading the front page lemmy.zip I got 502 bad gateway, so I was thinking something like adding a check of if the page load with the external status tool.
Thanks for the update.
I was a bit worried for your mental health as the hours of downtime continued :)
Awesome that the backup restore procedure work that well.
One thing I have been wondering is, why status.lemmy.zip stayed all green during all of this.
