I believe a difficulty slider in a game specifically Elden Ring would destroy the game design. Biggest example is my own experience after walking out the starting area seeing and having that horse fella as the first thing I saw and tried to kill for longer than I would like to admit (before going to Google) if there was just a slider to slide down so I could kill that guy I would have never learned how to play the game and explore and kill bosses to level up. Not saying sliders don’t work in ANY game but I just think it would ruin the experience of elden ring.

Yea I bought one humble bundle (some earthquake relief or something) and now I have like 150 games I will never play…

Be warned you will miss important story cutscenes because of this. Me and my friend played (not really sure) about half the story yesterday and missed a lot.

Yea I’ll be honest this game does not look that good. It really looks like a lot of destiny and overwatch. Not sure.

After reading this thread I hope this is true I have had 2 laptops plugged in one for like 5 years non stop (this one I deactivated the battery in BIOS it’s old) and the other for about a year…

Just finished “X-Men 97” last night it was great. Makes me want more animation tv shows. I honestly believe animation is the best way to make things such as X-Men, marvel, star wars etc

I agree with everything but the controls problem you are having I had no such issues. Are you playing with controller or mouse? I did controller.

Me personally would 100% rather buy any game than do a subscription (no matter the subscription).

until Valve can sort out whatever the issues are preventing the online mode from working.

Am I dumb or should the developers of the game also try to see why it won’t work on Linux if they want to “appeal to a larger audience” witch is what every company seems to try to do.

I think the difference is that those play tests we are thinking of are for lack of other terms locked down. Playtests I have done were not able to be recorded, streamed and had water markers all over the place. In this case people are playing and streaming making videos at that point you should be able to give opinions on the game.

You have never played an early alpha of a game and signed a NDA to not disclose it I did this with many games the finals, th division heatland, x defient, arc raiders etc. although in this case since there are yt videos and streams seems a little weird. I was uneducated the games I am talking about when I played had watermarks on them and were made for testing etc had no idea the game was like viewable. In this case it looks more like if tarkov or an EA game said you can’t leave reviews.

Could be wrong but this does not sound sound outlandish for a alpha. There should be no point to ruin a name/brand before it is out. You should not leave a “review” of a unfinished product.

I get this with a lot of “no brain action films” these days. It kind of feels like everyone is trying to copy John wick and unbelievable things. Really turns me off at this point. Have not seen beekeeper but have seen terminal list.

Anyone here play star citizen on Linux? I’ve been wanting to give it a try but never played it before.
