Restaurants are (EDIT: are not) places that most people go to on a regular basis, so calories on the menu would make no real difference to someone’s life. I’d still support that move, though, because it might help someone who is intentionally watching their calorie intake.
Sodium, cholesterol, saturated fats… now those could have an immediate impact on someone’s health and should be noted on menus.
Forcing himself upon us like he forces himself upon women, eh?
I bought two “Eightree” brand Zigbee-compatible plugs to see how they fare.
Did you need a Zigbee hub to get them working? I was gifted an Eighttree Zigbee plug with energy monitoring, but it seems to require using a hardware hub :(
Don’t we all wish this makes things easier for Liberal? In reality, it probably won’t change much.
The fact remains that conservative voters seem to have an obsession with voting against their best interests, as long as it hurts someone else.
… and just show the respect of taking seriously the fact that they’ve got people dying and they want it to stop.
Smith, which one of these is caused by Canada?
If Trump gave a shit about people dying, he would have already banned guns. He would have declared a state of emergency on roadways. And he would pour money into healthy lifestyle and actually healthcare.
His narcissistic tendencies, infidelity, and history of sexual assault demonstrate a profound lack of empathy and concern for others, so quit the bullshit.
I’m willing to bet that most people who could entertain riding a 20k bike are professionals who get sponsorships, and they have to use the gear provided by the sponsors.
Even if you had a few rich people who have an expensive bike just because, is the market that big to sustain hardware like this? I wouldn’t count on having warranty or software support for more than a year or two. 😵
The fact that the Starlink contact enriches a Nazi who isn’t afraid to salute in public is more than enough reason to cancel any contract we have with him.
I can see so many issues with this without even putting much thought into it…
For instance… if your carbon handlebars crack, there goes your navigation system, too. And when your nav system stops working because someone decided to smash the screens, you’re SOL because you can’t mount regular accessories to a bar like that. And when your bike fitter tells you that you need wider/narrower/longer bars, oh well!
This looks sleek, but you lose repairability, upgradability, and the reliability of having separate, removable “gadgets”.
As long as individuals are allowed to hoard hundreds of billions (soon, trillions) of dollars that they couldn’t possibly use in 1000 years, then this will never end.
We need to cap personal wealth, and it needs to be a number so low that any one person can’t take over a country like Nazi Musk is doing at this very moment.
There is absolutely no reason why we have homeless people, people who can’t afford medication, kids who are hungry, and students who have to choose between education and a roof over their head.
These problems exist because there are literal trillionsof dollars being hoarded by a few people, when it should have been distributed to everyone who actually earned it.
Honestly, these guys need to piss or get off the pot. Either do what you’re saying you’ll do, or make a swift exit from the job.
Seriously. There’s no consideration for all the scrambling that businesses have to do, even when it’s just a threat.
I’ve got one of those black plastic shelving units for all my bike parts and accessories. Some are just hung off the shelves, and others are on it.
If I had a better place for them, I’d want to display them better because they are nice bags 😀
Weight: 408 grams (M)
Jesus Christ, that’s heavy for a helmet. Better have health insurance for that Shermer’s Neck!
My thoughts, exactly.
This move was simple intelligence gathering. Now he knows how the world will respond to this threat. He’s far more prepared to do it for real the next time.
Canada should hold their ground and call his bluff. Make him suffer for just the idea of threatening us.
Not even Hitler would buy one. He’s got too much self-respect than to associate with Elon.
'Shwa. 🤭 But I ride all over the place.
You may have too many of them. 😆
You have no idea.
Multiple trailers, panniers, handlebar bags, frame bags… I’ve used my bike(s) as a car replacement for nearly everything these past two years! Everything gets used, and I’ve got so many options at my disposal.
It’s an investment, for sure, but I tend to go all in when I commit to something, and I don’t see myself ever not using my bike for everything 😄
Meh, Fuck Trump. I’ll continue to boycott American goods until this asshole takes a dirt nap. Then I’ll celebrate with Canadian maple syrup and a few Drake tracks.
He’ll keep this threat over our heads for the next four years, and he’s going to continue bullying us until we finally say “Not this time”.
Never trust a serial rapist.
Nice! I’ve got two Bug bags, purchased second hand at different times. One is “vintage” with the old style maple leaf on the Made in Canada tag, while the other is more like yours.
TBH, the bug is my least used of the bags I have. I’m a huge fan of the Metropolitan and the Signature H, but I also love the Shopper, Ultra Lite, Trailrider… and more… oh god, I like them all, really. LOL
Conservative logic has always been “As long as it takes away from someone else, I’ll support it.”
Literally every other party supports proportional representation, because it’s the right thing to do.
