Two things programing and typing. Touch Typing was just one day after beating me head against the apple 2 then came in and boom it just clicked and I was 40pm.
With programing it clicks and unclicks every other day. One day I’m like i am a real programmer getting paid to do this then the next I’m the biggest fraud that can’t even do a while loop correctly.
It just seems odd to me if there is no maintenance why not just build a package yourself from the devs provided source code? Maybe I’m just an old man but it seems without the on going maintenance it would be about the same as for example using buildpackage and apt-build on Debian but that is a local repo for just me. So if something goes wrong it only affects me not the whole internet.

That’s the thing I don’t ever see Linus approving a merged request to add a kernel level anti-cheat (rootkit) into the Linux kernel. So they will have to come up with another way. Also at this point kernel level anti-cheat doesn’t even work anymore. It’s like the TSA its their to make people (investors) feel safe but really does very little to stop the thing it’s meant to and Inconvenience and annoy legit customers. Just like with DRM and pirates.
Does the offline mode trick not work anymore? then pick it up when it goes on sale for convenience.
