Good night😴
Which side?
Such delightful nerds that they felt the need to correct their old song! Well, it was a cover, but I’m pretty sure anyone who knows “Why Does the Sun Shine? (The Sun Is a Mass of Incandescent Gas)” associates it with TMBG
This comic makes me worry about Li slightly 😆
Technically they’re called “temples” and “temple tips”, but I’ve never heard anyone actually use that terminology. Usually I hear them referred to as “arms” (“handles” is a new one 😁)
No man’s Sky still has a heart of jank, but it undeniably has a heart
What do you mean by “handles”?
Wait, so you’re putting your unpaid items in the bag? I know there’s nothing inherently wrong with that but I’d be worried that someone would stop me or say something so I just hold on to mine until I check out.
then to a true finance expert, like an economist or market analyst for example.
I think you meant “than”. “More of X than X”. “Then” would be “I’m going to do this then that”
😩
I think it’s more of a dislike for low effort fluff- just so happens that the new hotness for that kind of junk is AI
As someone else mentioned “X coded” is becoming more popular. Originally, it referred to things like race or sexuality- where a character or race intentionally or unintentionally evoked stereotypes or traits associated with real people. It’s become a bit more generalized, as KYM explains https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/coded-slang
I have to return some videotapes
Some bath/shower faucet setups are really not conducive to stopping and starting unfortunately (I’m thinking of 3 valve systems where you have hot, cold, and bath <> shower faucet with no easy way to turn off and back on to the same temperature)
GOG’s launcher is better and it’s not even a requirement for their games!
I found UrBackup to be very easy to use. Very little nitty-gritty setup and configuration required to get started. I have a feeling those with more experience will (rightly) pick apart if I’m missing something egregiously bad about it, but it worked for my small homelab use cases.
For anyone else very confused by their lemmy client not showing a title or seeing title simply stating “godot ocean waves”:
An open ocean rendering experiment in the Godot Engine utilizing the inverse Fourier transform of directional ocean-wave spectra for wave generation. A concise set of parameters is exposed, allowing for scriptable, real-time modification of wave properties to emulate a wide-variety of ocean-wave environments.
