In other words, if you started at the center and started walking rimwards, it’d gradually start feeling like you’re walking uphill; Because relative to gravity you actually are. But the further out you go, gravity would also be weaker, as you’re further away from center of mass, so the “uphill climb” wouldn’t be that hard.

I tend to agree to a certain extent. Art by committee rarely works, and devs should first and foremost build the game they envision.

Listening to feedback is useful as long as it doesn’t result in a watered down result that detracts from the original intent.

Yup. Studios don’t chase blockbusters greatness anymore. They go for the safe bet that is good enough to result in some profits. This is done through formulaic scripts around well known franchises. If it’s not a well known franchise, they hope the big names in the production team will suffice.

And to a certain degree, it’s understandable. Netflix and many others are pumping out tones of movies, and I see why they don’t want to bet big on something risky.

I agree with your first half, but regarding the second half I’d argue that docker isn’t a necessity, especially early on. You can host multiple things fine without docker.

Docker is nice and all (or so I’ve been told), but I’d put that a lot further down on the list of things to learn. Understanding the basic services individually is more important than containerization.

Him, and CathodeRayDude were my immediate thoughts. Both are great, but neither do new stuff.
