Well the rumored Qualcomm handheld is still two years away assuming it doesn’t get delayed. Qualcomm’s next generation of chips are expected to be alot better, and Microsoft have been improving their x86->arm translation layer lately. It’s too early to tell if a qualcomm handheld is a bad idea.

That’s like saying people won’t be interested in new laptops because they already own one. If new handhelds are more performant and power efficient, there will be demand for it.

First time playing this, have a feeling I might be a little overqualified

I don’t understand this post, Severance never claimed to be a mindblowing political series. It’s a sci-fi thriller that also happens to be a satire of corporate culture, nothing more. It doesn’t need to be “a deeper critique of capitalism” to tell a good story

The lawsuit started 5 years ago and it’s still not clear when it’ll get resolved or if they’ll even get the money in the end :/

A major investor owes them 10 million dollars they agreed upon but refused to pay after the movie finished shooting.

The movie is mostly finished but postproduction and release stopped until the lawsuit is resolved.

I don’t understand how people listen to audiobooks. I tried multiple times to give it a try but always zone out after 5 minutes and miss parts of the story.

I’ve played it and really enjoyed it. Despite getting advertised as an ARPG, it’s really not. It’s more like dark souls but with random loot. The gameplay is very slow and methodical, and it’s very difficult. Managing loot isn’t that bad, I just went with whatever I found and didn’t have to worry too much about finding the perfect weapons/armor.

The game is self-published. They used to be published by Private Division but went indie when that company got sold. The game had legitimately troubled development.
