well, if we’re blocking the biggest “fediverse instance” ever just because its owned by a giant tech corporation, that would only cause trouble adapting to the fediverse in the future

i mean yeah sure meta is evil and everything, but the point of the fediverse and the activitypub protool is that its open for anyone and everyone to adapt to their own tech, and blocking an instance with SEVERAL MILLIONS of people in it wont help improving the fediverse, we’re doing the opposite of what we’re supposed to do

might as well block every domain coming from meta since HTTP is also a federated and open protocol if thats gonna make it better
