Walmart has recalled Marketside Fresh Cut Cucumber Slices from 34 Texas stores due to potential salmonella contamination linked to cucumbers distributed by Arizona-based SunFed Produce.
The recall affects all date codes up to Dec. 1, and customers are urged to discard or return the product.
Salmonella can cause severe gastrointestinal symptoms and results in around 420 U.S. deaths annually.
SunFed previously recalled cucumbers sold nationwide between Oct. 12 and Nov. 26.

The fact that this product exists in the first place annoys me, and that’s before I saw the price.
