For the record I was posting in support of inclusive language, but pointing out that context and convention matter.
They seem to have even scrubbed my comment from their instance, lol.

I just checked my username in the mod log… Apparently I’ve been banned from 13 different communities. Interestingly none on hexbear despite habitually going there and accusing everyone of huffing paint/glue/other solvent abuse.
Edit: on closer inspection, apart from one from blåhaj they’re all from Lemmy.ml so I guess it doesn’t count.
How do you check your name in the mod log? I feel as though I’ve been pretty chill but I’m curious to see if I’ve stepped on anyone’s toes.
Become a mod and you’ll have access to the log. Easiest way is to go to lms@hilariouschaos.com (last mod standing) and ask Alice to make you a mod, which she will.
You called someone’s reply rude and a mod removed your comment. It’s the only thing in the mod log under your username.
Ah, I remember that comment.
Thank you for saving me the trouble.
If you find out let me know too please.
@recklessengagement@lemmy.world if you go to the bottom of the page on the default web frontend, there’s a link to the modlog and you can search your username.
I have no idea how well federation of modlogs works exactly, though. I usually check on ml to see if I’ve been banned again on ml (you don’t have to be logged in).
I’m apparently banned from some vegan community because I argued against them when they said they’re more oppressed than black people in America 😂🤣😂🤣
You can scroll down and you would see modlog inside it you can search by user
