Almost anywhere else is still a really Eurocentric and ignorant claim. The USA is to the left of the majority of countries on earth unless you are using the EUROPEAN economic binary which does not fit MOST of the world.

Point being? India, Russia, and China make up the majority of the world’s GDP, population, and landmass, and Bernie Sanders would be considered a far left extremist in any of those countries.

It has nothing to do with race. There are hundreds of other countries in the world, comprised of varied races, and thousands of ethnicities within those countries. If it’s anything it would be nationalistic, ethnocentric, or economic elitism.

The Euro binary only makes sense when liberal democracy is the default. That is not true in Africa or Asia which is factually most of the world.

He supports practices that are farther left than all of the EU.
