The title is missing the very important “or more advanced”

made on 14nm or 16nm process technologies or more advanced

I was wondering how a 14nm chip would have 30 billion transistors lol, it would have to be a full wafer-sized chip (which has been done but I don’t think it’s been done on such old nodes)

Seems to be squarely aimed at GPUs.

AMD’s Zen+ 1700X (with no iGPU) has 4.8 billion transistors. 1080 Ti has 11.8 billion.

Even the latest Apple CPU doesn’t hit 30 billion:

This will happen shortly, as Apple’s M4 system-on-chip for mainstream PCs is already at 28 billion transistors.

For a more modern consumer level cpu with igpu, the 9950x3d has 16.6 billion transistors.

But the AMD epyc9000 series have 39 billion transistors on the smallest entry level server chips
