minus-squarenotabot@lemm.eelinkfedilinkarrow-up27·1 year agoOh, I know. The trouble is my brain keeps trying to flip to match the peas, then back for the rest of the image. It’s just subtly wrong enough that it isn’t absurd until you focus on it.
minus-squaregigachad@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkarrow-up6·1 year agoWell in the original image the peas were on the left side. Mirroring was not an option, so the peas had to be rotated
minus-squaremmddmm@lemm.eelinkfedilinkarrow-up2·1 year agoMirroring is mirroring. It doesn’t matter the direction if you will rotate later.
minus-squareSkunkWorkz@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up2·1 year agoIf you only mirror the original image form left to right the peas will not be on the plate
minus-squaremmddmm@lemm.eelinkfedilinkarrow-up1arrow-down1·1 year agoIf you rotate them you’ll get the exact same result as mirroring from top to bottom. (Ignoring floating point errors.)

Flip horizontally then rotate.
Mirroring is mirroring. It doesn’t matter the direction if you will rotate later.
