To quickly load and unload larger planes, the baggage is loaded onto these containers, called unit load devices, as passengers check in, then the containers are loaded onto the plane when it arrives at the ramp. Reverse the procedure at the destination, and now instead of hand-loading hundreds of bags and air freight parcels, you’re just loading 20-40 of these containers. If a bunch of passengers on a flight are all connecting to same flight at the next airport, all their bags can get loaded into the same container, and they just transfer the whole thing onto the next plane without having to open and resort it.

He looks shocked because he spent his entire lunch break augering a hole into the seat so he can stick his tail through for comfort, but now he realised he put the cart in reverse instead of first gear.

I love you. I used to have reoccurring dreams as a child about entering the world of Richard Scary. I had so many animal friends and we’d go on field trips every day. The dream only ended when I crossed the fence back to “my side”. I would get tired in the dream and say I should go. I said my goodbyes and one time I told a friend (elementary school) about my dream and it never happened again. I still miss my animal friends and I’m way older now.

Perhaps it was a coping mechanism as I grew up being transferred through foster homes pretty frequently as a kid.
