    If Trump comes back to the table I don’t see a problem in negotiating, but there’s no need to bend over backwards for him, over this of all issues.

      Agreed. I think a lot of people are mistaking Carney’s attempts at diplomacy for weakness and/or appeasement. I can understand their point of view, especially for the EU who aren’t shy to express their distaste and don’t have this monster at their doorstep like we do. But I do think before long Carney will have to tighten up a bit and stop trying to butter the guy up. It’s a lost cause when it comes to Trump, as we’ve seen here. You could jerk the guy off every day and he would still turn on you at a moment’s notice.
