For the record I enjoyed the movie overall, but damn, Sonny needed a redeption arc not that dirty shit.
I’m seeing the movie on wednesday, hoping it’ll be a good time. On paper an old driver feeling pressed into playing dirty because he can’t hang with the young guns anymore doesn’t sound half bad. Though I doubt that’s how it’s portrayed in the film.
If you go into the movie with the expectation that its going to be “drive to survive meets top gun/days of thunder storytelling” then you’re likely going to have a good time.
