    Wait, I understand the whole Hitler salute thing, but aside from that and the swastika - there are symbols you can’t wear on your shirt in Germany without being arrested?!!

    I don’t even think we’ve made it to that point here in Trumpistan yet.

          No, it is exactly what you said: extremist symbols are not allowed in Germany in order to not give them presence in everyday life. While our police is sometimes a bit blind on their right eye regarding those, I do agree that those symbols should be forbidden in public.

          Now the caveat: like this story shows, it can be abused like all censorship laws. But if you don’t know the history of the pink triangle as German police officer, you should be fired and send back to high school history classes.

            I disagree. But displaying such symbols should consider assualt, so when you punch a nazi… it can be classified as self defense.
