Edit: and for my experience, during my Masters, I led a team who designed, tested, and built a LIDAR vision system for a Porsche 991 RSR to race. No Tesla work, but I would consider my intimate knowledge of vision-based self-driving systems fairly complete with respect to Tesla as we did our best to improve upon their work thus far. Not substantially relevant, just a humble brag.
