Hi,
There’s a community I’d like to block from my feed but the name is so long that when I hit the info circle, the palette isn’t high enough to reach the ‘block community’ option. There’s no way to scroll down to it either.
Can we have another way of blocking communities please?
The community name is short but the description tacked onto the title when clicking into community to block, is long.
Again, screenshot please?
The length of the community title or sidebar content shouldn’t matter, the new post, subscription button, and block button, appear together at the top of the sidebar, and they stay there even when you scroll.
Ha! Apologies. I’ve searched for the community but now that I’ve managed to block it with a long press on a post, it doesn’t show up in the searches!
It was something like ‘egg_irl’.
Block button shows up fine for me.
If I press the ‘I’, the dialogue box comes up v low down and mostly off screen. Can’t scroll it.
Perhaps my phone screen form factor. OG SE. The text appears much longer and taller.
Hmm, you might report it as a bug, there might be reason to add a limit for how many lines the community title is allowed to overflow to.
You’ll be able to open the community again from the blocklist, you’ll find it from the account settings (settings icon in the top right, account tab).
Thanks for your help!
A screenshot would be useful.
Aside from that, a workaround would be to long press any post from the community, and block it from that menu.
