Hi,
I seem to remember there being an option to “retrieve remote post”, but I can’t seem to find it (nor did a search give me anything useful). Am I imagining that such a an option existed?
Several posts from this community are not showing up on Piefed.social:

How it looks via Piefed.social:

Solution:
It’s in the siderbar, under the list of moderators (3rd link).

In the long run movies@lemmy.world (and all other communities on Lemmy) will be the community that loses out if they continue to let that guy run rampant. The threadiverse is for real people posting things that matter to them and when we see people/bots behaving like that it looks like we’re just as bad as reddit.
Here is the list of that person post on !movies@lemmy.world:
They may be posting non-sense on other communities, but for that one that seems quite on-topic. I’m a mod on !movies@piefed.social, I can ban them if needed.
They have improved their targeting a lot since their early attempts but their pace remains a complete deluge and obviously inauthentic. How can you possibly trust this guy?
We saw something similar with the LLM bots a few weeks ago where the human operator would use the account sometimes to write comments while their bot did 99% of their posts.
lol I just clicked.
The guy has a centaur as his profile pic: https://lemmy.world/pictrs/image/ea14af42-b0d1-4f1a-b247-631ff5f9d993.gif (looks AI-generated, doesn’t it? Hard to tell at that small size tho)

Ah, I missed the posts in your other screenshot. I might raise this on Threadiverse Defense, seems ban worthy
