The Supreme Court has ruled against a law banning “conversion therapy” for LGBTQ+ kids in Colorado, one of about two dozen states that banned the discredited practice.
There ought to be a conversion therapy to get people who believe in nonsense like god and jesus the help they need. When they use their make believe books to legislate, their delusion spreads to more stupid people who don’t know any better. We need to spread the words of “critical thinking” and “reality based facts” to the god-believers.
Theophobia(?) is not helpful. Shaming people for their religious beliefs benefits nobody. Biblical fundamentalism is a problem, sure, but science does not have an explanation yet for many things like the initial formation of single-celled life and the birth of the universe (big bang aside). We are in no position to judge someone for how they choose to fill those gaps.
Ah yes, because the rational person hears a story from a book about a god talking like some marvel supervillain celestial, and says: Sounds about right. That has no place in a secular government.

Good luck with that.
