Sekiro man, what a ride…Celebratory wine is blowing this way out of proportion though XD. buut, my past self didn’t think I had it in me so… Yay.

Fucking great game, the difficulty needs some serious demystifying… It was not nearly as tough as I expected. That said, this felt sorta like a trial run…

Here’s to the completed playthrough, and many more to come, cheers!

An additional note:

I bursted out laughing during final boss phase two, I seriously thought the

…Out of proportion? I would have a celebratory glass of wine just for having made time to try again with this game.

Every year or two I dip back in and get curved hard. It’s so gutsy and visceral, I love it but I lose my nerve. Part of the problem was using a fuzzy weak projector and I couldn’t read anything. But that’s an excuse, it’s mostly that I get flustered. Even I admit it’s a game design masterpiece though!

It certainly can be, a couple of times it felt like I was playing bloodborne! I’d say this game’s worth a serious try. Get yourself properly set up, I’ll be your personal cheerleader!

I did finally upgrade to a projector that does tolerable resolution and response rates, have been steadily chewing into my backlog ever since. Currently trying to finish AC6 after putting that on hold for a few years as well.

Bloodborne is even deeper in the queue, and I’ve been admiring it from afar for several years. Same issue, I’ve always been more facile with slower or more forgiving From titles.
