Late Monday morning, an area including Ottawa, Pembroke, Hawkesbury and Kaladar was upgraded to a rainfall warning with a ceiling of 40 millimetres. That warning ended west of Ottawa early that afternoon and in Ottawa later in the afternoon.

Western Quebec has a special weather statement about 20 to 40 millimetres of rain. An area spanning from Brockville to Cornwall has a statement about 20 to 30 millimetres.

The Deep River and Algonquin Park were under a rainfall warning calling for a total of 25 to 50 millimetres of rain Sunday and Monday. That ended around midday.

Local authorities are not forecasting anything worse than nuisance spring flooding in low-lying areas. There are flood watches in the Tay Valley and Rideau Lakes areasQuinte Conservation’s inland waterways and the Ottawa River between Pembroke and Arnprior.
