Hi everyone, It’s been a long time since our last proper update and I want to speak openly about where things stand with Towns. Back in 2014, development stopped. Burnout and personal struggles made it difficult to continue the project in a healthy way. Since then, many of you have reached out with genuine interest in contributing, learning from or even continuing the work yourselves. Until now, I had always chosen to keep it private, however I think it’s time to change that.

I think the information is relevant here since, in the chance it has DRM on Steam, given the source code is now available, a DRM-free version should be possible to compile.

    Oh wow, blast from the past. I was annoyed when the game was abandoned because it had so much potential. I played alternatives instead like Gnomoria. But yeah, that’d be cool if this game can continue development in some way.
