Considering what a dud F4 turned out to be, this isn’t a good sign. The art direction was great, but everyone was miscast except Mole Man, and the story was bad. They should have made movies out of the stories told in the flashbacks at the beginning of the film. Far more coherent and interesting.

Also isn’t it too soon to reboot the Apes movies? If you’re gonna start this up again, maybe a streaming series would be a better choice.

Bizarre, I guess the Ape movies are more successful than I thought. The last two were so dull.
