I tried to sculpt a cat’s head on Nomad Sculpt for PC. It is surprisingly more responsive than blender on the type of laptop I have… Feedback appreciated.

Well the first thing you should always do when trying to recreate something is get some references. That being said I think the head would be more rounded, one thing you can also do is keep things like the eyes, ears, nose etc as separate geometry so you can move them more easily. Once you move from the large rough shapes you can consider attaching and blending things like ears. I’m not sure what nomad can do though, most of my hours are in zbrush.
Zbrush is too expensive. This is my first try with nomad. Only $35 on PC. I have seen people do very amazing sculpts on Nomad. I am far from it. I did look at a reference. But this was as close as I could get it. I am still learning the dexterity needed to use the program’s tools. Zbrush is way more sophisticated and there is an easier way to get base meshes but nomad you have to make them yourself with the available tools. I am jealous of those who can afford zbrush. Isn’t it around a thousand dollars for the program or did they switch to a subscription model?
Student license then not caring about buying it means I’ve never actually spent that much. Yeah I just looked and I guess zbrush doesn’t even do decent perpetual licenses anymore…
