    Whenever a worker is brought from a less-developed country to a more-developed country to work, there’s almost certainly exploitation. I’m surprised the Italian government even let that start.

    Friendly reminder Trump is tariffing countries he alleges haven’t done enough to mitigate slave-labor.

    I’m now expecting some convoluted plan from Trump where he tarrifs his own country and routes the fees into his family’s bank accounts. Politicians and justifies will stand around with their fingers up their noses saying there’s nothing to be done, it’s only tradition that has kept presidents from doing this sort of thing previously. Would anyone here actually be surprised by such a headline?

    WTF happened to prevailing wage? That needs to translate to US wages overseas. The feds are spending money hand over fist, the least they can do is not use what is close to forced labor.

    Don’t worry, I’m sure the term “market rate” was used by some clueless rich person somewhere in that chain of events. It’s the American way.
