Do you have a favorite song? Other than The River, I love “Genessaret (Going Out Over 30,000 Fathoms of Water” and “Hanasakajiji (Four: A Great Wind, More Ash)”! I didn’t know what “The River” was about until legitimately last night, when I was testing a new sound setup and playing some stuff I love for my partner…
I swear this post disappeared and is now back! I was able to see them several times in smaller venues and they were fantastic live. Some if my faves by them have to be ‘Kasa No Hone’ and ‘Dokkoise House’, although that entire Floating World album is grand.
I ended up talking to one of the members I found on LinkedIn of all places. He says they all keep in touch on a group chat still which is cool.
