    Lets engineer a shirt that looks black in the visible spectrum but is white in everything else.

      You could do that, unfortunately solar irradiance is highest in the visible spectrum.

      Could probably just take a black shirt and smother it in sunscreen. Apparently, you would want “mineral sunscreen”, which aims to reflect the UV light rather than just absorbing it.

      No guarantees that it’s actually still black afterwards, though. 🙃
