    Also: you can get deoderants that aren’t antiperspirants, which i personally go with because we kinda sweat for a reason (i’ll take all the cooling i can possibly get)

    For people who didn’t know: The smell is caused by bacteria breaking down the compounds in your sweat (and other stuff that ends up in there, like skin flakes), not by the sweat itself. So it’s perfectly possible to be drenched in sweat yet not smell much at all.

      I’ve been using one of these salt stick deodorants for about a year now. I keep a stick of the scented antiperspirant as well for back up, because I still feel like sometimes I have an odor even if I don’t notice it. I’ve only tried the brand I have now, but do you have any recommendations?

        i don’t think brand recommendations have any worth for things like this, because there might well be 50 local brands. You really just have to decide what you care about and compare things yourself.
