We went to the hospital yesterday and the decision has been made to cut off my boob.

I have the pre-stages of breast cancer in one of my boobs and will have it removed next week. So I guess that has been sorted.

However long all those tests and consultations took, is finally over and I am finally out of the limbo stage.

I have gone through every emotion known to man throughout June, but it’s so nice to finally add relief to this collection of fee-fees.

Weirdest thing is that some of my longterm dilemmas, that have caused me stress and sleepless nights for years, are finally coming to an end simultaneously with this silly curveball. I think that by September, when I get to go and celebrate one of my siblings’ 50th birthday with everybody, I will be in a much more peaceful place than I have been for a very long time. I wish I could skip to that part.

I might have to make a name change on Lemmy when this shit is over. Pirate-Boob seems appropriate.

Don’t judge me. Today is the first day in so long that I feel almost completely at peace. Let me enjoy it while it lasts because I just know I will be back in the arena of chaotic emotions when I wake up from surgery next week.

Taking dog to new vet this morning. New apartment is wall-to-wall boxes. Have to update medicaid and get prescription refills. Register cars and licenses in new state. Drive 3.5 hours back to previous state to pick up stuff that couldn’t fit on truck the first time. Probably some other to-dos I haven’t remembered yet.

My kiddo is off to his dad’s for the next month! So this week is deep cleaning my car and I’m excited to get the goldfish cracker dust out of my back seats!! It’ll feel very satisfying :)

Probably my desk. It’s a mess. And I should get back to studying.

I might do some research on moving to Canada.

With Sheer Luck I stopped having poor people problems, got started a couple of years back around this month.

My partner and I were sick all last week, so the daily entropic chores need catching up on. I’m listening to a dance mix and made a list of to-do’s. My meta is coming home from a trip later this week, so I want to try and make our shared spaces nice and cozy for them to land comfortably in. Other than that, I really need to practice my kickball pitching this week because the captain of my tourney team told me casually at an unrelated event that I was going to be lead pitcher. Tournament happens end of July and I’m feeling anxious already!

Probably going to try to organize my room more, downsize so moving the hell out of here one day is easier.
