Yeah, “the bear” is great example of capitalist propaganda. It starts off as like a it’s hard to work in a restaurant pornography of interpersonal suffering caused by someone killing themselves because they failed at capitalism. And then shows all the workers buying in as hard as they can so that the business can just barely survive at every turn through huge personal sacrifices to satisfy the whims and needs of folks with more money and privilege than them and eventually devolves into “you wouldn’t tell Ayn Rand to cut some of the fountainhead” and you’re like ohh fuck right duh I must have had covid when I started this show.
