A majority of voters in New Hampshire wrote-in Bidenā€™s name on ballots where he did not appear officially

President Joe Biden won the New Hampshire Democratic primary, despite his name not appearing on the stateā€™s presidential primary ballot.

The Associated Press called the race for Mr Biden shortly after polls closed on Tuesday night, as a majority of voters wrote in the presidentā€™s name.

Mr Bidenā€™s campaign purposefully did not file the presidentā€™s name for the ballot within the deadline in an act of solidarity with the Democratic National Conventionā€™s (DNC) decision to make South Carolina the first state to hold a primary.

Sorry to pick on your comment, but I have a question about a statement everyone seems to assertā€¦

    Is he charismatic? No.

(As a disclaimer Iā€™m out of touch with peopleā€™s impressions on this)

I donā€™t understand this statement from everyone. Charismatic compared to what? Heā€™s way more charismatic than most humans - heā€™s a career politician who manages thousands of relationships. He snaps off solid one-liners to shut down trolls. He leaned into the Dark Brandon thing. If he spent effort seeming even more charismatic, Iā€™d be more concerned about his fitness for the job.

Put another way, I see him as having the right balance of charisma for voters aged 35+.

What are people wishing we had instead of that, in a presidential candidate?
