Do not fall into the trap of anthropomorphising Larry Ellison. You need to think of Larry Ellison the way you think of a lawnmower. You don’t anthropomorphize your lawnmower, the lawnmower just mows the lawn, you stick your hand in there and it’ll chop it off, the end. You don’t think ‘oh, the lawnmower hates me’ – lawnmower doesn’t give a shit about you, lawnmower can’t hate you. Don’t anthropomorphize the lawnmower. Don’t fall into that trap about Oracle.
— Brian Cantrill
How can you lose over twenty thousand employees and still have a functioning business?
They can’t. They will rehire/backfill a fraction of it back a year from now at lower salaries.
Selling high, buying low. The tactic never changes. Sorry/not sorry on all the collateral damage done for their gains. Even if some of the injuries are to themselves.
Have you met Oracle? They seem to thrive on self-inflicted injuries
Oh noes! My ORCL!

One Rich Asshole Called Larry Ellison
I commute past the Oracle campus in silicon valley every other day and it’s been a ghost town for years. They did move there HQ to texas, but they still have so much office space that they don’t use.
Someone could probably steal there boat out front and no one would notice for a week.
