Unfortunate. The game will be removing anything bloodborne-licensed but will probably still look similar.
Sony finally remembered that Bloodborne existed at the worst possible time. Still, at least the game isn’t being outright canceled and judging from the Micolash redesign, it looks like the creator is making the best of it. I do wonder if there’s a possibility the creator could sell the game now, since it’s now a legally distinct gothic kart racing game and not a Bloodborne fan game.
Definitely. This is the best possible outcome. And the game still keeps the hype so people will be paying attention.
This probably means one thing: Sony is making their own Bloodborne Kart!
Dear, oh dear. What was it? The Money? The Fame? Or the Copyright? Oh, it doesn’t matter… It always comes down to the Hunter’s helper to clean up after these sort of messes.
Before reading the post I was ready to fight that “Kart” does not relate it close enough to Mario kart to warrant a trademark infringement.
I admit it did not occur to me that “Bloodborne” could be the contentious part of the title.
I wonder if this means someone will release a mod that returns names to their trademark-breaching intentions.
NO!! It was so close to release!
