I created this post on !mechanicalkeyboards@lemmy.ml: if you go directly to the instance, it shows twice as many comments, and a lot more upvotes than on the SDF view.
Well, it looks like the SDF instance is catching up: suddenly a whole bunch of comments, and all the upvotes from the lemmy.ml instance now show up in the SDF view. Too many upvotes in fact 🙂 I guess the downvotes are still getting processed.
Maybe this is all sorting itself out, whatever the bottleneck was…
Oh and by the way, I wasn’t implying that SDF is responsible for this. It was just a general comment on the state of federation in Lemmy, which - the more I look at it - seems really quite fragile.
That sounds like there are other instances with messed up federation
Interesting, I’ve seen it on other instances too
Hm. Some views from other Lemmy instances…

Seems… OK…? Apart from lemmy.world (but that’s running a previous release of Lemmy).
PS from Mastodon (hachyderm.io): https://hachyderm.io/@ExtremeDullard@lemmy.sdf.org/111866487723645951
No replies or anything because nobody subscribed to mechkeyboards from hachyderm.io. I just subscribed, though :)
