Does anyone know Invidious clients for android? I see that there is Clipious but I don’t see any options to subscribe to anyone?
I know of Piped and LibreTube but I find Invidious to be more speedy from personal experience and my assumption is that it is not as used as Piped is
Edit: turns out you need to be logged in to an invidious instance to be able to subscribe on Clipious.
Why not NewPipe?
Or Tubular,
a fork of NewPipe,
with SponsorBlock + ReturnYouTubeDislike supportHorrible UI that I simply can not stand. But I do have it as a backup
I use it but I really want a way to sync the subscriptions and watch history with my desktop client, and currently the only way (afaik) is to use piped or invidious
I think Piped just feels slower because of the web page, I’ve noticed that everything is a lot snappier when using LibreTube, especially playing videos. On LibreTube, when I click on a video, it instantly starts playing while I have to wait several seconds on the web page for it to start playing.
There is a subscribe button, it’s directly below the channel name. Up until recently there was a bug in invidious preventing it working but it looks like that’s been resolved now.
for me the option is simply not even there. That’s why I made this post to begin with
Are you not logged in? You need to have an account logged in, subscriptions are stored server-side.
Edit: Ah, I see that you’ve found that out. Good you got it sorted!
You can totally subscribe to people on Clipious
Could you please demomstrate where or how because I can’t seem to find it
Just use a paid VPN and Grayjay PipePipe or Freetube.
why’d you need a paid VPN?
Because people using invidious probably want the proxy. And nothing is free
