True, though I have no problem with open source devs asking for donations. As long as the code is truly open source and the software is free, and not locked behind a paywall, “donationwall,” etc
Unfortunately, just shows most of these people were in it for the wrong reasons.
If they were in it for legit game preservation reasons, there would be zero reason to do anything.
