Exactly my reaction. I think when I saw how much there was 0 attacking impetus from them starting the second half and how we struggled to even make any chances, I was resigned to penalties. Then it was just boredom until OH SHIT PENALTIES AAAA
For me it was more like I didn’t care too much until the end. I was thinking “well, if Arsenal goes out of the CL it means the club can focus on the league”. Then suddenly I cared too much and was freaked out.
I was somehow not nervous until the penalty kicks, and then suddenly it all kicked in for me.
