Passenger vehicle drivers were okay. Though I did see someone getting tailgated, change lanes, then change back to get behind the tailgater to flash their high beams in anger 😯
Had two different professional truck drivers tailgate me though; one truck and trailer, and another b-double. 👏🏼👏🏼
I will never understand so-called professional drivers acting like total wanks on the road. If you get paid to drive in a professional capacity you need to be better than Joe Average commuter, not worse.
Yet when the inevitably run up the back end of someone, they always claim “omg don’t you know how long it takes for a truck to stop??” as if somehow the vehicle in front of them is responsible for… them following too close?
I see truck drivers manoeuvring in tiny spaces with a heap of skill and it’s something I can’t do, but I also see truck drivers tailgating hatchbacks on the highway at 110kph (and throwing up justifications like “If I dont follow close someone else will just pull in” which is stupid for car drivers but doubly so for heavy vehicles). On balance I cant wait for self-driving everything.
Any bets on how many crazy drivers and people there are gonna be today after the long weekend?
Hopefully be a bit more tame now that school holidays are on 🤞🏼
Reporting back from this mornings drive to work.
